Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CrawlSpider (the "Service"), a product of InfoCaptor. By using the Service — including running the free AI Visibility Checker — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What CrawlSpider Is

CrawlSpider crawls websites and measures how search engines and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity mention, rank, and describe a brand relative to its competitors. It is a monitoring and analysis tool. Its output is informational only and is not marketing, SEO, legal, or business advice. AI assistants and search engines change constantly and can be inaccurate or inconsistent; you are responsible for how you act on what CrawlSpider reports.

2. The Service

You can run a limited check without an account through the free AI Visibility Checker. Creating an account (with a sign-in shared across InfoCaptor's products) lets you save brands, configure prompts and competitors, run scans on a schedule, and track results over time. Feature limits depend on your plan.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to create an account, and you must use a valid email address you control.

4. Your Content

You own the brand, competitor, and prompt data you enter. By adding a brand or competitor you represent that you have a legitimate business interest in monitoring it. You understand and agree that your prompts are sent to third-party AI providers and search engines as described in the Privacy Policy. Don't enter confidential or sensitive personal data, and don't use the Service to harass or mislead.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service to send unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content to AI providers or search engines; exceed or circumvent plan limits or rate limits; scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the Service; probe or disrupt its infrastructure or that of the providers it calls; or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law or a provider's terms.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party AI providers, search engines, hosting, email, and payment providers. We are not responsible for their availability, output, or actions. Outages, model changes, or policy changes at those providers may affect or interrupt the Service.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

A free tier is available. Paid plans are billed and processed by Stripe under the pricing and renewal terms shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time, with effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, and its software are owned by InfoCaptor. We make no claim of ownership over the brand or prompt data you enter. Responses returned by third-party AI providers and search engines are subject to those providers' terms.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Visibility scores, rankings, sentiment, and competitor data are estimates derived from third-party output and may be incomplete or wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, InfoCaptor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the Service; our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms or for use that risks harm to us or to the providers we rely on. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
