CrawlSpider scans continuously in the background on each brand's schedule — you don't need to do anything for routine scans to happen. The Runs page and response detail views exist for when you want to look closer or trigger something manually.
Scheduled scans vs. manual runs
Scheduled scans happen automatically and quietly — they don't create an entry on the Runs page. The Runs page only lists manual "Run scan now" batches, so it shows things like "8 of 12 done" for a batch you just kicked off. If the Runs page looks mostly empty, that's normal — it means your scans have been running on schedule without you needing to intervene.
Running a scan manually
Use Run scan on the Brands page (or a specific prompt) to scan right now instead of waiting for the schedule. By default this only runs prompts that are actually due, so clicking it twice in a row won't spend extra scan credits repeating something already fresh.
Reading a response
Click View next to any mention (from the Overview or Runs page) to see the full AI answer, including whether your brand was mentioned, its rank in that answer, sentiment (for brand-named questions), and any competitors named alongside you.
Why don't scans show a "completed" status?
Every prompt is really a standing to-do item, not a one-time task — it goes back to "waiting for its next scheduled run" immediately after each scan finishes, forever. So you won't see a permanent "done" marker on a prompt; instead, check the response history (via View) to see exactly when it last ran and what it found.
