CrawlSpider's AI Visibility Monitor tracks whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and other AI models mention your brand when people ask them buying-related questions — and how you compare to competitors. This page gets you from a new account to your first scan.
1. Sign in
Click Try for free or Log in from the CrawlSpider homepage. Accounts are shared across the CrawlSpider product family, so if you already have a CrawlSpider login you can use it here too.
2. Add your first brand
From the Overview page, click Add your first brand (or go to the Brands tab). You'll need:
- A brand name and website — this is what CrawlSpider looks for in AI answers.
- A category/industry, so suggested questions are relevant to what you actually sell.
- Optionally, a few competitor names — these unlock comparison and mention-share reporting.
3. Add prompts
Prompts are the actual questions CrawlSpider asks AI models on your behalf — things a real buyer might type into ChatGPT. On the Prompts page, click ✨ Suggest prompts to have AI draft a realistic set across all six buyer-journey pools automatically, or write your own. See Prompts & AI Models for details on what each pool means.
4. Let it scan — or run one now
Every prompt runs automatically on a schedule (see Brands & Scan Cadence). If you don't want to wait for the next scheduled run, use Run scan on the Brands or Runs page to trigger one immediately.
5. Read the results
Once a scan completes, the Overview page fills in with your mention rate, average rank, trend chart, and a table of recent AI answers. See Dashboard Overview for what each number means.
