Brands & Scan Cadence

A brand is the company or product you're tracking. Each brand has its own competitors, prompts, and schedule — tracking multiple brands (e.g. your own plus ones you consult on) keeps their data completely separate.

Adding a brand

On the Brands page, click Add brand. Give it a name, website, and category — the category is used both to keep prompts relevant and to generate a default question set if you use the AI prompt suggester.

Scan cadence

Every brand has one cadence setting — how often all of its prompts get scanned. Choose from the picker on the Brands page:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Custom — a specific number of minutes, for advanced setups

Changing this value takes effect immediately — it updates every one of that brand's prompts to the new cadence in the same action, so you never have to update them one by one. It does not trigger an extra scan right away; each prompt simply picks up the new frequency the next time it's due. Your plan sets a minimum — see Pricing — so very fast cadences may be clamped to what your plan allows.

Pausing a brand

Pausing a brand stops all of its scans from running — no new AI calls are made, and no scan credits are used. Its existing data is not deleted: the Overview page still shows the last results it collected, and if the brand has a published public page, that page keeps showing too (see Publishing a Public Page) — it just stops getting fresher data until you resume. You can pause an entire brand, or pause a single prompt without touching the rest.
